Interim Director of Education for the Dioceses of Durham and Newcastle.
When did you become a trustee?
In September 2023.
Why did you want to become part of the RRC?
To continue to develop and embed the links between the Resources Centre and Education, particularly with a view to supporting staff in locating the best resources, thereby enabling our children to have access to high quality materials that will support their learning about the world, especially religion.
How does being a trustee support you?
There is a direct link between the Joint Education Team who support our Church Schools with RE and Christian Distinctiveness, as well as the RE syllabus.
What’s your ‘to do list’ for the RRC for the next few years?
Ensure that the communication between schools and the Religious Resources Centre is strong and purposeful.
