Gary is the Vicar of St Michael’s Church in Boldmere which is an area of Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham Diocese.  He came here in 2014, and previously was a vicar in the Diocese of Durham.  He is also an Assistant DDO.  He is a DJ, strictly vinyl, plays Crown Green Bowls in the summer, and enjoys historical fiction and board games.  He plays bass in the Drain on the Balcony which is a band made of up friends from teenage years, and in 2020 they released their fourth album, and are working on the fifth.  He learnt video editing skills during Lockdowns.
