As Library Manager Sean is responsible for our collections and library management systems. He works between our sites and helps to ensure a professional level of service is delivered to all our members.
He was Volunteer Coordinator and Duty Manager at Ushaw Historic House and Estate working with extraordinary people and among notable examples of Taylor ‘Georgian’ architecture and Pugin ‘Neo-Gothic’ architecture. Prior to this, he was involved with Durham University and Cathedral engaging with some of the finest early printed and medieval manuscript collections in the country. Sean has represented England and Wales during the International Coordination of the Young Christian Workers in Seoul, South Korea, and is National Treasurer for the England and Wales charity.
Sean holds an MSc in Information and Library Studies from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, and is certified by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
