General Questions
Do I need to pay?
No – RRC Podcasts and RRC Mini-Movies are completely free for you to listen to and watch.

I am having difficulty listening to or watching your multi-media – can you help?
You are very welcome to contact us for help, but might we suggest trying the following first:
1) Ensure your software is up-to-date
2) Check that everything is turned on and functioning as it should:
Are all the leads safely connected and the correct settings adjusted (remembering that it is possible in some cases to adjust volume via the speakers, the operating system, and the software. Have you tested it with other online videos/audio as it could be an issue with the device in general.

Referencing RRC Multi-Media
Can I reference these in my work?
We very much welcome collaboration and sharing ideas. The RRC hold the copyright for RRC Mini-Movies and Podcasts but we respect those who have participated in them and would like to make sure it is okay prior to saying yes. Please contact us in advance if you would like to reference RRC Mini-Movies or Podcasts.

Can I download and use your multi-media?
For personal use this is absolutely fine. Please contact us if you would like to download our multi-media for your work.

After seeking permission, do you have a preferred referencing style?
We appreciate there are pre-set reference styles in some cases and we prefer for any pre-prescribed style to take priority. If there is no style set, please follow Harvard Referencing Style.


 
Creating Multi-Media
How do I feature in a podcast of film?

What equipment do you use?
We have used the following to create and edit RRC Mini-Movies and RRC Podcasts:

  • Macbook Pro
  • Mixer: Peavey PV6 USB Equipped 6-Channel Mixer
  • Sound Recorder: Zoom Handy Recorder H4n
  • Video Camera: Panasonic HC-V210
  • Microphone: Shure PG57
  • Sound Editing Softwrae: Audacity
  • Video Editing Software: iMovie
