Most Christian’s believe that Jesus Christ calls every person to follow him. As Christians it’s their duty and joy to share that invitation. This belief led to a campaign by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York in 2016 called ‘Thy Kingdom Come’. They invited every church in England to join a week of prayer that Pentecost – from 8-15th May — asking them to pray for every Christian to receive new confidence and joy in sharing this life-transforming faith.
This page, from that campaign, concerns ‘Prayer Walking’. The notes from this on the website say:
“Prayer walking is as simple as it sounds – praying as you walk. When we prayer walk we are stepping into our authority as God’s children to bless people and places in Jesus’ name. This simple task is a great way to bring transformation to your local community by asking God to break in”.
