      The aim of this unit is to enable children to gain insight into the impact Jesus had/has on people’s lives.

      Programme of Study to include:
      Exploring how Jesus changed people’s lives.
      Suggested Stories:-
      Blind Bartimaeus (Mk 10:46-52) (Lk 18:35-43), The Ten Lepers (Lk 17:11-19), Zacchaeus (Lk 19:1-10)
      The Calling of Levi (Mt 9:9) (Mk 2:14-17) (Lk 5:27-32) and the lives of the disciples
      The Rich Man (Luke 18:18-30)
      Explore the idea of giving up objects and changing your way of life in order to follow Jesus.
      Mother Teresa and the local clergy.

      Key Vocabulary: Jesus, Mother Teresa or the relevant Bible characters

      Key Experiences:
      Discussing the concept of change, finding answers to the key questions.

      Key Questions
      What does ‘change’ mean?
      How can our lives be changed?
      How did Jesus change lives?
      Is it easy to change?
