Zoom event: Jesus Christ, Learning Teacher – A Conversation@theRRC with Dr Mark Chater
In his new book Jesus Christ, Learning Teacher Dr Mark Chater wrestles with what it means to say that “Jesus was a teacher”. If he was a good teacher, was he also a learner? How seriously does the Christian church promote Jesus’ ministry as a path of learning?
In this Conversation@theRRC we will have the chance to ask Mark:
How he understands Jesus as teacher
to explore how he thinks his understanding of Jesus may liberate teachers, preachers and pastors
what he means when he calls for a ‘release of the Christian pedagogical imagination’.
Dr Mark Chater
