The Largest Religious Resources Centre in England

Here to support you with your religious education, learning or mission needs. A friendly and knowledgeable team of 8 resource-specialists working in two regional centres in the North East of England.

We can lend you over 37,000 physical resources in a huge variety of media. Everything we have has been vetted by our staff to ensure accuracy, reliability and quality.

We are part of a network of faith communities, RE professionals and organisations across our region and on-line. Each one has been contacted by us before they are recommended to our members.

We offer you resource advice, support and training.

We offer membership to schoolschurches, faith communities, in fact, anybody who needs our help.

The Religious Resources Centre is an independent, not-for-profit, charity.

We do what we do because we want to ensure that Religious Education in schools is outstanding, that mission in churches is engaging and effective, that multi-faith encounter is meaningful, challenging and collaborative. We work to ensure that people of all faiths and none can dialogue. That they can learn about each other in a constructive and positive way.

Established in 1974, the Religious Resources Centre has an Anglican foundation but takes pride in its ecumenical and multi-faith resources and partnerships. Since its foundation the Resources Centre has been majority funded by the ‘St Hild and St Bede Trust’.
