DESCRIPTION:As we all become more aware of the financial and environmental costs of clothing, come along and get some practical, hands on experience of different ways of mending clothes.\n \nAs we do so, we’ll have some gentle, open ended conversation about how learning to mend might help us think differently about ourselves and one another and God. We’ll think about what causes damage to things and to people and what might help us to mend and be mended. There will be space for some time with the Bible and some prayer too.\n \nEverything you need will be provided to make samples of a couple of different mending techniques (no previous experience needed). You can also, if you wish, bring along a piece of clothing you love that’s in need of some mending, and get some advice on how to do it.\n\n \n \n
