DESCRIPTION:Lent can be a difficult time and the burden of creating and hosting a Lent course often falls to the ministers in the Parish/Deanery. It doesn’t have to be this way!\nCome along and hear Gary Birchall share why, how, when and who led the ‘At Home’ Retreats his church has been running during Covid.\nYou will come away with information, ideas and tips to help you create your own Church Retreat.\n \nGary is the Vicar of St Michael’s Church in Boldmere which is an area of Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham Diocese.  He came here in 2014, and previously was a vicar in the Diocese of Durham.  He is also an Assistant DDO.  He is a DJ, strictly vinyl, plays Crown Green Bowls in the summer, and enjoys historical fiction and board games.  He plays bass in the Drain on the Balcony which is a band made of up friends from teenage years, and in 2020 they released their fourth album, and are working on the fifth.  He learnt video editing skills during Lockdowns.\n
