Professional Chinese dance artist, choreographer and performer. Works with schools and community groups to raise awareness of the value of cultural diversity through dance and music. Apple's Chinese interactive dance workshops (Chinese Fan, folk dance and Lion dance) allow children and young people to learn new skills and develop an understanding of Chinese culture, traditions and values. The Project encourages participation and is committed to bringing out the best in all those who take part. The workshops encourage children and young people to contribute: developing their self-esteem, boosting their confidence and knowledge.
Workshops are aimed at Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools and Sure Start initiatives. Apple will works with community groups (of all ages), extended schools, Summer Schools, PAYP Activity days and Festivals.
