Amabutho African Arts
Founded by NESAS (North East Southern African Society), Amabutho African Arts performs traditional Zulu dance and the ‘Gum Boot’ dance, accompanied by drumming. Originally founded by 6 men the group now includes women and young people.
Known in particular for the ‘Gum Boot’ dance, Ambutho African Arts perform at functions, festivals and will deliver activities/workshops to schools. Fees for individually tailored sessions range from £250-£450, worksheets can also be supplied about African wildlife, geography and the meaning of flags.
