The following faith communities welcome contact from interested individuals and groups. Most have places of worship and welcome visitors. Some offer other/additional services including speakers, teaching and artisitic faith expression. Please check with each individual community concerned.
Some faith contacts sections contain a document offering guidance for those unfamiliar with visiting that community's place of worship. Each document has been written with the assistance and approval of the community concerned.
Further contacts for most of the faith groups listed can be found in the BT Phone Book under "Places of Worship - mixed" and in the Yellow Pages under "Places of Worship".
Other faiths are currently being consulted.
The North East Religious Learning Resources Centre supports religious learning in the North East of England. We also have excellent links with advisers and faith groups which border our region. We have been asked to include links to some of these groups on our site and this is something we are developing in partnership with educational colleagues in the regions concerned. For more information on the groups listed on the links below please refer to the site contacts and not the NERLRC.
